"Re-use, Repair and Reduce : The 3 "R"s for a Sustainable Society
On March 2nd 2011 Comtek Network Systems (UK) Ltd will be taking its campaign to reduce e-waste and promote sustainable business practices into the heart of the government by hosting a sustainability seminar at the Houses Of Parliament.
This will be a very high profile event and will feature distinguished speakers from the academic and political world. The event will focus on informing business leaders, heads of public sector organisations, and policy makers of the ways in which we can reduce e-waste and encourage sustainable business practice.
Featuring a keynote speech from Catalina McGregor, UN ITU Green ICT Liason Officer to the OECD and EC on how the government can better promote sustainability in ICT, the event will also include a host of other high calibre speakers, including representatives from Comtek, the WAB Task Group / RDC, The Carbon Trust, Computer Aid, the CBI and the Green Economics Institute.
The Seminar will be held on the House of Commons Terrace from 7.00pm, there will be a very strong media presence at the event and many top politicians will hopefully be joining us also. Refreshments, Wine and Canapes will also be served
